Peabody & Smith Realty recently welcomed Steve Gorman, a seasoned hospitality veteran, onto their real estate team as a Sales Associate.
Bethlehem resident Stephen Gorman joins Peabody & Smith Realty after a successful career in the hospitality industry, where he worked throughout the country at a multitude of exclusive hotels and restaurants. Gorman returned to this area after a six year absence. When he last lived in the North Country he worked at the Mt. Washington Resort before returning to his native area of Illinois.
“I have always liked northern New Hampshire and decided to return to the area we loved after having our son. I like that the area is friendly, peaceful and full of outdoor activities.” Gorman said.
Gorman’s career primarily focused on the hospitality industry and he is originally from Champaign, Illinois. He holds earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. While in his chosen career though, Gorman was never far from the real estate field as he and his wife remodeled a vast number of homes, and later sold each one. With a love of architecture, Gorman said, “I know I will enjoy working with home buyers to help them purchase their first home, or helping them purchase a special piece of land to build their dream home. In addition, I am eager to work with home sellers to help them realize their dreams.”

Gorman lives in Bethlehem with his wife Kristine and their young son Andrew. He enjoys camping, skiing and spending time with his family. He works out of the firms Franconia office.
