But if we take away those two items and only ponder this fact: According to the Fannie Mae National Housing Survey of 2010, "80% of home buyers buy in order to have a good place to raise and educate children". The study went on to report that "70% of buyers buy in order to have a home they feel safe in." And they added, "71% of buyers buy in order to control their own living space."
