Peabody & Smith Realty Starts Using Bar Code Technology to Give Consumers Information Fast

By the year 2013, researchers at Gartner Predicts estimate that “mobile phones will overtake PCs as the most common Web access device worldwide”. For this reason Peabody & Smith Realty has begun using Quick Response (QR) codes on their signs for consumers to use to instantly access property information. These QR codes are similar to a bar code, and a consumer with a web enabled smartphone can easily scan the code using a QR code reader and immediately receive information about the home or land they are looking at.
Peabody & Smith Launches New Rental Website

In an effort to make online reservations for vacation rentals easier and more user-friendly,
Peabody & Smith Realty recently launched a new rental website, peabodysmithrentals.com. While their real estate website, peabodysmith.com, used to host rental information, as the rental department expanded and grew, it became apparent a separate website was needed.

As an owner of a local successful day spa, Leeann Trahan has decided to join Peabody & Smith Realty of Littleton as a Sales Associate. While still the owner of Razzmatazz, Trahan is taking her administrative and management background and expanding it into a real estate career.
Michele Penner Achieves National Recognition

Michele Penner has been awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Representation (ABR) designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors. Penner joins more than 30,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the ABR designation. All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, both in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience.

Our St. Johnsbury VT office is Moving to a New Location!

For over three years, Peabody & Smith Realty has been operating an office in St. Johnsbury in leased space at 357 Western Avenue. Starting in November, they will be working from their new location at 683 Railroad Street, in a building owned by the company.

Littleton Landmark - The Beal House Inn Sold

A Littleton landmark, the Beal House Inn on West Main Street transferred ownership this week from Joel and Cathy Bedor to G. David Keller. Keller recently completed the first phase of his planned renovations to the Inn and Restaurant, a project that has taken nearly two months. He plans to reopen the restaurant within the next week.

Peabody & Smith Realty recently opened a new real estate office at 85 Main Street in Plymouth NH. This is our first office south of Franconia Notch, as we already have two offices in the North Country and one in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The office is fully staffed with five real estate agents, led by Peabody & Smith Commercial Broker Mary Doherty.
