360 Acre Owl’s Head Cliff Property in Benton Sold to The Trust for Public Land

The 360 acre parcel of land on Route 25 in Benton, NH, that features the towering granite cliff face called Owl's Head, was sold last week to The Trust for Public Land (TPL). The large parcel of land is a popular attraction for rock climbers and hikers and is only one-half mile from the Appalachian Trail. The property is bounded on three sides by the White Mountain National Forest and has over 6,000 feet of frontage along Oliverian Brook. In addition, according to TPL, four fledgling peregrine falcons were observed on the cliff this past year by New Hampshire Audubon, which was more than any other site in the state.

Horan will be covering both New Hampshire and Vermont commercial markets, focusing on the sale and leasing of commercial, industrial and investment properties. Horan is a member of the NH Commercial Investment Board of Realtors.

April Reinhard & Melissa Leslie Join Peabody & Smith Realty

As Peabody & Smith Realty continues to grow, we recently added two new administrative assistants to our team. April Reinhard of Littleton recently joined the Franconia office of Peabody & Smith Realty as an administrative assistant. In the Littleton office, Melissa Leslie from St. Johnsbury has been chosen to lead the firm into the migration of some new computer software, and assisting as needed with administrative duties.
