Peabody & Smith Opens New Office in Plymouth NH

Peabody & Smith Realty recently opened a new real estate office at 85 Main Street in Plymouth NH. This is our first office south of Franconia Notch, as we already have two offices in the North Country and one in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
The office is fully staffed with five real estate agents, led by Peabody & Smith Commercial Broker Mary Doherty. Doherty has been with the firm for almost a decade, after spending 25 years in the insurance and financial services industry. She is a candidate for the nationally recognized designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and has earned the GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute). She specializes in commercial real estate and has been representing commercial sellers in the Pemi Baker Valley area for many years.

In addition to Doherty, the office is also comprised of long time real estate sales associate Deb Holland, CRS, GRI of Holderness. Holland holds the highly coveted Realtor designations of GRI as a Graduate of the Realtor Institute and she is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). She has spent many years as a self employed entrepreneur and has experience in marketing, property values, and bringing buyers and sellers together to a successful closing.
Other real estate agents include Sue Sampson, Deda Newbert and Carmen Burns. Sampson is a long time Plymouth resident who is a retired teacher having served 32 years in the Plymouth area as a high school health and physical education teacher. She received her real estate license four years ago, having turned a life long love of real estate into a full time job following her retirement from teaching.
Sales Associate Deda Newbert is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark. She moved to the states 22 years ago. Deda has a strong knowledge of horses, horse properties and the international real estate market.
Carmen Burns, Sales Associate, is a resident of Rumney. She has lived in the Pemi Baker Valley for over twenty years, and worked in retail in a variety of capacities, including teaching classes, buying product, customer service and more. Real estate has always been of interest to her as she has bought and sold many properties and grew up as part of a successful real estate business in Northern NH.
